"Our horticulture staff will be pulling and potting the orchids and getting them ready for sale at 2 o'clock," said Spears. On St. Patrick's Day, Myriad Botanical Gardens will also host a holiday celebration. "The night before, we turn the lake green with this carrot-based dye. So it goes in orange and the next day, it's this bright green. Events at the Gardens start at 6 p.m. on Saturday with dyeing the water green.On Sunday, the main events at the Myriad Botanical Gardens include traditional bagpipes, face painters painting rainbows and pots of gold and more."I hope they have a wonderful time and a great memory and they enjoy the performers," Leslie Spears, with Myriad Gardens
